SaverOne Enters into Term Sheet to Acquire Assets and Operations of Micronet Ltd

SaverOne 2014 Ltd, a technology company specializing in transportation safety solutions, announced that it has signed a term sheet for the strategic acquisition of certain operations, products and IP of Micronet Ltd., a developer of advanced telematics systems cameras and Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS). Upon closing of this acquisition, it will broaden SaverOne's product portfolio and customer base, and is expected to accelerate SaverOne's go-to-market strategy in the US market.
Micronet Ltd. is a publicly traded company on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, under the ticker MCRNT. SaverOne's management expects the acquisition of the Micronet Ltd. operations and assets that are to be acquired, will be immediately accretive to SaverOne following the closing.
The final deal terms are expected to be closed after concluding a due-diligence process. The majority of the consideration for the operations and assets will be contingent payments, related to the acquired operation's performance. In addition, SaverOne will assume all Micronet Ltd.'s prior obligations towards its customers, mainly including product warranties, customer service, returns, repairs, etc., and SaverOne will be compensated by Micronet Ltd. in the future in connection with the provision of these services.
The deal is expected to be signed and close in early 2024.

CorrActions raises $7.25 million to prevent vehicle accidents through AI-based brain activity monitoring

The Israeli startup has developed AI-based software that detects abnormalities in the cognitive state of drivers and passengers.
An Israeli AI-based driver safety startup, has raised $7.25 million in its Series A round. The funding round was led by Volvo Cars Tech Fund, which was joined by BlackBerry, alongside prominent venture capital firms Next Gear Ventures, Mobilitech Capital, Regah Ventures, OurCrowd, NextLeap Ventures, and Stone Ventures.
CorrActions has developed AI-based software that detects abnormalities in the cognitive state of drivers and passengers. The software analyzes micro-muscle movements that reflect brain activity, using existing human-motion sensors in vehicles such as the steering wheel, in-cabin radars, seats, and other devices. These movements can indicate various cognitive states, including driver intoxication, fatigue, and distraction.

Quantum Conducted a PoC in Collaboration with Tashtit and Wire Logic.
Wire Logic POC
The Technology:
Wire Logic provides autonomous early detection of wiring-based communication faults, enabling fleets full visibility for proactive and preventive mitigation and supporting the workshop technicians with guided diagnostics related to CAN BUS wiring faults.
The Use Case:
The Lab PoC took place at Quantum-Hub Workshop located in Soreq, based on CAN-BUS system mockup with real-world faults injection, such as shorts, open circuits, ECU faults, etc., within the system, which Wire logic solution has to detect and provide the location of the fault along the wiring harness.
The next steps - further software development will focus on locating the exact location of electric cuts in the CAN-BUS.

Maradin <> OI Lounge
The Technology:
Maradin offers cutting-edge MEMS-based scanning solutions for laser sensors and displays, collaborating with prominent automotive and consumer display companies.
The Use Case:
After we showcased Mardin's technology as part of Ecomotion 2023, the firm was chosen to be a part of the OI Lounge exhibition in Korea last November.
To that aim, Mardin created a new and more advanced generation for the system, and Quantum took on the challenge of tastefully integrating the system and smoothed the system in an invisible way to a high level behind the front car grill.
